Free Practice Tests

Confused StudentAre you not sure whether you are better suited for the SAT or ACT? Are you a returning student looking to further improve your score? Take one of our free diagnostic practice testsWhether you're a junior looking to jump start your test prep, or a senior looking to further increase your score for a scholarship, our practice tests are an important part of the process.

Practice tests are typically given Saturday mornings at our office in North Dallas starting at 9:15 AM. Although Saturday mornings can be a hard sell to sleep deprived high school students, they give us the opportunity to more closely mimic the testing conditions students will experience during real tests.

Both the practice SAT and ACT take about three and a half hours to complete and score. In general, the SAT has questions that relate more to aptitude and reasoning skills, while ACT questions focus more on learned knowledge. Scores are usually about the same on each test, but some students may find that they prefer one test to the other.
